The name Bacolod Spa sounds uninspiring and P350 for a Swedish, Shiatsu, or combination massage is really cheap so I didn’t expect much in terms of ambiance and service. However, the moment I stepped inside, my perception about the place took a 360 degree turn. It was certainly classy. Of course, it couldn’t compete with Chi, The Spa, or Suriya but it’s far better than the ones I’ve been to in Manila for the same price range.
I later on learned that Bacolod Spa is already 22 years old (so it does has an advantage when it comes to experience) and just transferred to the fifth floor of Avenue Suites.
I didn’t get to see the area for foot spa but based on the pictures, it’s also beautiful.
Massage was good but they only use baby oil. Perhaps because other kinds like lavender and eucalyptus are expensive. There was also no music but to the staff’s credit, the place was so quiet.
